The Brass Tap Ranks in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 for 2020

The Craft Beer Bar and Entertainment Franchise Taps Into 2020’s Strongest Franchises List.

Entrepreneur Magazine has ranked The Brass Tap among the Top Franchises of 2020 in their 41st Annual Franchise 500, an influential ranking of 2020’s strongest franchise brands. 

Along with roughly 1,000 companies that applied this year, the brand was evaluated according to five key pillars: financial strength and stability, size and growth, brand strength, support and costs and fees. Entrepreneur Magazine determines the based on the scores each franchise brand received. 

The craft beer bar and entertainment franchise has recently increased its average unit volume (AUV) by $400,000, rising from average sales of $1.2 million to $1.6 million in recent years.In addition to increased AUVs,  The Brass Tap is continuing to gain momentum with recent multi-unit signings. The brand currently has 46 units in operation, with 45 additional locations in the development pipeline. The most recent signings come from four different franchisee groups and bring in a total of nearly 20 units, with locations from ranging from California to the East Coast. 

The initial start-up investment for The Brass Tap ranges between $664,050 and $1,223,000 with a franchise fee of $35,000.
