Owner Niraj Bidari envisions the venue as more than just a sports bar, describing it as a "one-stop shop for all groups of people," with offerings that cater to a broad audience.
With Raleigh’s thriving craft beer scene — recently ranked No. 1 in the nation — The Brass Tap aims to impress. It will feature 45 taps of local, national and international craft brews, alongside a full bar with wine, spirits and a variety of cocktails, including mocktails and classics like martinis and margaritas. Complementing the drinks is an extensive menu of crowd-pleasers such as burgers, hand-breaded chicken tenders, pizzas, tacos, quesadillas and wraps, making it an ideal destination for everything from noon kickoffs to weekend brunches.
Bidari also plans to create a dynamic community atmosphere with activities like live music, trivia, cornhole tournaments, DJ nights and watch parties, as well as special celebrations for holidays such as Cinco de Mayo and the Fourth of July, complete with themed drinks and décor.
While North Carolina prohibits traditional happy hours, The Brass Tap will offer specials for teachers, hospitality workers and others to foster a sense of community support.
“We want to support local businesses as well,” Bidari said. “And focus on helping the community. I’m a big-time local guy.”
