Lyle Tick was announced as president of Buffalo Wild Wings on Monday, the brand’s parent company Inspire Brands said in a release. Tick most recently served as managing director of Walgreens Boots Alliance’s health and beauty brand, with other stops at Bacardi and several prominent marketing and advertising agencies.

Tick takes over for John Bowie, who had been in the role in an interim capacity since February, when Buffalo Wild Wings was acquired by Arby’s for $2.9 billion, creating the new entity of Inspire Brands. Bowie will return to his position as Buffalo Wild Wings chief operating officer. The position of president was previously vacant before the 1,200-unit chicken wing and beer chain was acquired.

“I’ve been a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings for many years, and this is an exciting time for the brand. Through the capabilities and resources of the Inspire platform, we’re building a talented team to ensure that Buffalo Wild Wings is well positioned for long-term growth,” Tick said.
