Full-service restaurant franchise brand Buffalo Wild Wings created the role for Freeman, a veteran franchise industry executive
In a new organizational restructuring, Buffalo Wild Wings has appointed experienced franchise industry executive Seth Freeman as its new chief marketing officer in charge of culinary, digital, advertising and guest experience activities. A Restaurant Business Online article noted that Buffalo Wild Wings’ parent company, Inspire Brands, created the position for Freeman, who was overseeing marketing for InterContinental Hotel Group’s franchised systems, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, in his last role.
Freeman previously worked with Inspire Brands CEO Paul Brown at InterContinental. Inspire’s brand portfolio includes Buffalo Wild Wings, Arby’s and R Taco. It recently acquired full ownership of the Buffalo Wild Wings and Arby’s brands by buying back The Wendy’s Co.’s stake for $450 million.
