Buffalo Wings & Rings Eyes Bigger Stake of Ohio

The sports restaurant franchise is looking to claim a big piece of the Buckeye State.

Cincinnati-based Buffalo Wings & Rings is eyeing Liberty Township for a new location, and the Journal-News recently spoke with chief development officer Philip Schram about the company’s plans.

“Our biggest priority is to continue to develop and improve the brand in greater Cincinnati first and then I would say the Tristate,” Schram told Journal-News. “It makes sense to open a store in north Cincinnati. It’s an area that is booming with a lot of families.”

According to the article, Buffalo Wings & Rings just reached a deal to buy two acres of land to serve as the new location, though the brand has not yet decided if it will be a corporate owned or franchise site. A recent Zoning Commission meeting approved the sale, though the new restaurant is not expected to be completed until early 2017.

Said Schram to the Journal-News, “Our biggest priority is to continue to develop and improve the brand in greater Cincinnati first and then I would say the Tristate. It makes sense to open a store in north Cincinnati. It’s an area that is booming with a lot of families.”
