Much like Daniel-san in &#8220;The Karate Kid,&#8221; <a href="http://ownabuffalo.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=buffalo-wings-rings-franchise-wins-best-wings-in-chicago-1195" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Buffalo Wings &amp; Rings</a> has proven it&#8217;s the best around (nothing&#8217;s ever gonna keep it down!) by taking the title of &#8220;Best of Fest&#8221; at the 2015 Chicago Wingfest. Competition was cutthroat at this year&#8217;s event, its 16th annual iteration. Approximately 2,000 chicken wing fans gathered to taste upwards of 50,000 offerings from the city&#8217;s best. However, Buffalo Wings &amp; Rings came out on top against 17 other competitors, placing 1st in the BBQ category in addition to winning Best of Fest. Besides being able to boast about having Chicago&#8217;s best wings, the restaurant chain did its part to raise funds for local and national charities at the event, a perennial favorite for wing-lovers in the Windy City. In fact, WingFest has raised more than $150,000 for various charities so far, according to the event&#8217;s official website. This year&#8217;s lucky recipient was Chicago Neighbors United, which provides educational scholarships to high school seniors.
