Butcher joined the coffee chain as president in June 2017 and replaces former CEO Sarah Spiegel, &ldquo;who left the role last fall for &lsquo;personal reasons,&rsquo; the company said,&rdquo; according to the article.

The article said that &ldquo;before coming to Caribou, Butcher spent 20 years in merchandising and marketing roles at Target.&rdquo;

Butcher indicated that he was excited to lead the &ldquo;iconic Midwestern brand,&rdquo; the article said, and shared in a recent statement, &ldquo;&lsquo;Every day at Caribou we have the opportunity to help people start their morning with an amazing, locally roasted cup of coffee and a great interaction.
