Toppers Pizza is working to snag a larger market share in the Charlotte region led by Charlotte locals, Mike Wielechowski and Nate Fuller. The Charlotte-attorneys love the pizza brand and have signed on to open the next six locations.
The first opening is the Ballantyne location, opening on Thursday, March 16, 2017. The franchisees were attracted to the model because of the unique product offering and business model.
"Toppers has taken the position they're going to push the envelope a little bit," Fuller told the Charlotte Business Journal reporter.
"We look at this opportunity to get in and actually take some of that market share," Wielechowski added to the reporter.
Director of franchise development for Toppers Pizza, Mark Cairns, explained why Charlotte was a market the brand kept its eye on.
"There's tremendous opportunity," Cairns told the reporter of the area.
