According to a press release, the invite-only event will give attendees a chance to meet face-to-face with Checkers corporate staff and learn more about franchising opportunities with the country&#8217;s largest double drive-thru chain &#8211; especially regarding that notable feature.
<br /><br />&nbsp;&#8220;Throughout Baltimore, Washington D.C, and Virginia, Checkers is known as the iconic double drive-thru restaurant,&#8221; said Jennifer Durham, Vice-President of Franchise Development for Checkers/Rally's. &#8220;Many people do not realize that over the past three years, Checkers has conceptualized and built new restaurant formats that include a new freestanding prototype option, an inline option, an end cap/single drive-thru option and an existing restaurant conversion. These build-outs give entrepreneurs real estate choice, dramatically reduce the investment level and improve sales to investment ratios.&#8221;
<br /><br />Durham added that continued development of existing markets is a key part of Checkers&#8217; strategy.

&#8220;Partnering with entrepreneurs to develop markets where we have a large concentration of Checkers is a major goal for 2012,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We&#8217;re excited to invite and meet with qualified prospects who are passionate about our brand and want to grow our restaurants throughout Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.&#8221;
