Chick-fil-a, the top teen fast food destination, has announced that it is testing a mac and cheese dish in six different cities. According to a recent article in USA Today, this test will serve as a way for the brand to assess the popularity of the item before determining if it will be added as a permanent fixture across the system.

The mac and cheese is available both as a single serve dish or as a catering tray. It is currently available in Baltimore, Greensboro, Houston, San Antonio, Nashville, and Phoenix. A representative for Chick-fil-a explained that the success of the test will determine if the item will be distributed nationwide.

The initial response to the dish on social media has been generally positive.
