Corporate-owned Mexican concept Chipotle has announced that fans will be able to order food for delivery directly through its own mobile app. According to a recent article in Nation’s Restaurant News, the brand has partnered with DoorDash, who will facilitate delivery through Chipotle's app. The program is be available in 70 of the company’s markets starting today.

The new program serves to support Chipotle’s goal of making meals more accessible to customers. In addition to delivery, the company will be adding pickup shelves at locations for mobile orders.

The brand’s chief digital and information officer, Curt Garner, said that Chipotle is, “proud to be among the first fast-casual chains to offer this delivery service and…excited to kick it off with this special offer for our customers."

To celebrate the new offering, Chipotle is offering free delivery through its app on orders over $10 through September 12th.
