Franchise industry veteran Brian Gies is joining <a href="http://www.churchs.com/franchise.php?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=churchs-taps-former-burger-king-and-tgi-fridays-executive-to-lead-marketing-efforts-2709353" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Church&rsquo;s Chicken</a> as Executive VP and Global Chief Marketing Officer, <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/churchs-chicken-welcomes-new-global-chief-marketing-officer-and-executive-vice-president-300806020.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=churchs-taps-former-burger-king-and-tgi-fridays-executive-to-lead-marketing-efforts-2709353" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">the brand announced earlier this week</a>. 

Gies comes to the brand with ample experience, having spent 17 years leading the marketing efforts at <a href="https://burgerking.ca/franchising/our-process?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=churchs-taps-former-burger-king-and-tgi-fridays-executive-to-lead-marketing-efforts-2709353" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Burger King</a> and another three and a half years doing the same for <a href="http://usa.tgifridays.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=churchs-taps-former-burger-king-and-tgi-fridays-executive-to-lead-marketing-efforts-2709353" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">TGI Friday&rsquo;s</a>, <a href="https://www.foodbusinessnews.net/articles/13413-gies-takes-the-marketing-reins-at-churchs-chicken?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=churchs-taps-former-burger-king-and-tgi-fridays-executive-to-lead-marketing-efforts-2709353" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">according to Food Business News</a>. In his role, Gies will be responsible for implementing Church&rsquo;s new domestic marketing approach and global brand positioning as the franchise brand looks to &ldquo;expand its presence and grow worldwide market share,&rdquo; the announcement said.
