Christian Brothers Automotive has a new man behind the growth of the brand in Ohio and his name is Doug Beachy.

Beachy signed on to open up the very first Christian Brothers Automotive in his hometown of Loveland with his wife, father and son by his side. He was always interested in opening up his own business and after speaking with one of his friends about how making a difference in the world is about starting small, he knew it was time to follow his passion and open his own small business.

“I like cars, and when you combine that with the business aspect, it was a no-brainer for me,” Beachy told the Cincinnati Business Courier.

Houston-based Christian Brothers Automotive was founded by two bible study partners. It’s why Vice President of Franchise and Strategic Development for Christian Brothers Josh Wall felt that the Beachy’s were a great fit for the brand, too.

“It’s not by accident that we selected Doug and Jamie,” Wall told the Cincinnati Business Courier. “It’s not necessarily that we’re looking for someone who would say that they’re religious, but it’s that type of heart. We’re looking to partner with people who love God and love people, but the heart behind it is really what drives the business forward.”

Christian Brothers Automotive currently has over 100 locations in the U.S. and the brand hopes to expand to more than 200 units by 2017. The new location in Loveland will start the company’s expansion into the region.
