Arby&rsquo;s will start testing venison sandwiches by the end of the month in select markets, according to a <a href="http://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/26/arbys-takes-a-stab-at-venison-sandwiches-in-select-locations.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=cnbc-arbys-takes-a-stab-at-venison-sandwiches-in-select-locations-6962" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">recent CNBC article</a>. The sandwich will feature a thick-cut venison steak that is 100% deer meat along with crispy onions and a berry sauce all on a toasted roll.

The sandwiches will only be available&nbsp;in select locations focused in the Minnesota, Michigan, and Pennsylvania areas, and according to the brand were selected in heavy deer hunting areas. The limited-time offer is a part of the &ldquo;It&rsquo;s Meats Season&rdquo; campaign to celebrate the beginning of hunting season.

&quot;Bringing venison to our menu also allows us to continue to set ourselves apart from the competition when it comes to proteins,&quot; said Rob Lynch, Arby&#39;s Brand President &amp; Chief Marketing Officer. &quot;You simply can&#39;t find this at other restaurant chains.&quot;
