With prom right around the corner, local educators and safe driving instructors are urging safe driving education. Prom weekend presents several dangers on the road, such as drinking and driving.

The dangers go beyond drinking and driving. Littmann stresses the impact that emotional and tired driving can have on local students.

&quot;Prom is an emotional time for any teenager,&quot; Littmann told the reporter. &quot;If you&#39;re upset because something happened at prom, take time to compose yourself before you get behind the wheel.&quot;
