Crain's Dallas: Female Honest-1 Auto Care Franchisee Hopes to Improve Auto Shop Experience For Women

Negative auto shop experiences led Robin Mainer to own her own Honest-1 Auto Care location with Kimera Shepler.

Robin Mainer and Kimera Shepler are opening a Honest-1 Auto Care in Lewisville, Texas in January of next year and are focusing on making the shop more female-friendly.
 
Mainer told Crain's Dallas about a negative experience she once had at an auto shop and how that eventually led to her deciding to invest in Honest-1 Auto Care. She elaborated on how their location will be different from other auto shops in the area. 
 
“The building is going to be very clean,” Mainer told Crain's Dallas. “Leather furniture. A coffee station where you can get a truly good cup of coffee. It will have a children’s play area. We have vetted the top people we can to work our service desk.”
 
The article also mentioned the pair's future expansion plans, as they plan to open two more locations in the North Texas area in coming years.
