Memphis-based Lennys Grill & Subs is planning six to eight new locations in North Texas within the next couple of years, according to Lennys' Vice President of Franchise Development Bob Ritter.

“We really feel like the demographic certainly meets what we’re looking for in locations,” Ritter told Crain's Dallas. “The whole metropolitan area is a possibility depending on where the franchisee would like to go.”

Sean Fitzgerald, No Limit Agency*'s chief development strategist, shared his insight on how they can succeed in the market.

“People are becoming more selective about what they choose to eat rather than just choosing a number on a menu,” Fitzgerald told Crain's Dallas.

Earlier this month, Ritter was personally surveying potential sites while in attendance at Dallas' Franchise Expo.
