Virginia Beach-based company Buzz Franchise Brands launched a new franchising concept,&nbsp;<a href="http://poolscoutsfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=crains-dallas-pool-scouts-opens-in-north-texas-6262" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pool Scouts*</a>, in order to break into the booming pool maintenance industry. The brand recently found its second franchise owner and first in Texas to serve Southlake, Flower Mound and Lake Dallas, Tom Allred.

&ldquo;When I look at the territory that Tom has purchased and will be opening, it&rsquo;s one of the best I&rsquo;ve ever seen,&rdquo; President Michael Wagner said in an interview with Crain&#39;s Dallas. &ldquo;You&rsquo;re not talking about huge areas of drive time just to get from one territory to the next. We look at data that says, single family home with pools in the yard with income threshold above a certain level. We know how to target specifically the customers who are out there.&rdquo;

Allred was looking to join an industry where he could utilize his MBA and professionalism to drive success. He found something unique in Pool Scouts.

&ldquo;We&rsquo;re not going to sell them something they don&rsquo;t need,&rdquo; Allred said to Crain&#39;s Business Reporter Nicholas Sakelaris. &ldquo;The industry has ethics issues and customers service issues. We want to bring a professionalism that the industry has lacked for some time.&rdquo;

With the franchising aspect comes unparalleled brand recognition for a new concept, staff will wear branded polos and drive vehicles with a visible Pool Scouts logo. Tom plans to hire on four employees to get the location up-and-running during the off season with plans to grow into the busier summer months.
