Daily Local: Smoothie King Franchisees Open Second Philadelphia Location

Brad Liermann and his partners opened a second Smoothie King location in the Philadelphia area.

Brad Liermann and his partners have opened their second Smoothie King in the Philadelphia region after they opened their first store a little more than a year ago. Liermann has opened the second location with his three business partners, Dave Rivell, Ash Swayne and Mike Casey.
 
According to the Daily Local "Nearly three quarters of the franchise's business is done through the drive-thru window," said Liermann. "The stores have vitamins and protein bars available too."
 
While Liermann and his group plans to open a couple more stores in the area, Franchise Development Manager, Chris Elam believes the Philadelphia region can hold between "30 to 40 Smoothie Kings," according to the Daily Local.
 
Smoothie King is planning to open 1,000 stores in the United States over the next three years.
