PGHC Holdings, parent company of <a href="https://dangelos.com/franchise?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=dangelo-parent-company-pghc-holdings-declares-bankruptcy-2708362" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">D&rsquo;Angelo Grilled Sandwiches</a> and Papa Gino&rsquo;s Pizza, filed for bankruptcy protection over the weekend, <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/pghc-holdings-inc-announces-stalking-horse-sale-agreement-with-wynnchurch-capital-300743873.html?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=dangelo-parent-company-pghc-holdings-declares-bankruptcy-2708362" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">the company announced</a>.

<a href="https://www.restaurantbusinessonline.com/financing/papa-ginos-dangelos-parent-company-declares-bankruptcy?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=dangelo-parent-company-pghc-holdings-declares-bankruptcy-2708362" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">According to a Restaurant Business article</a>, PGHC has a sale agreement in place with investment firm Wynnchurch Capital. As part of the bankruptcy filing, the company closed 95 company-owned D&rsquo;Angelo and Papa Gino&rsquo;s restaurants throughout the Northeast. Approximately 100 Papa Gino&#39;s restaurants and 78 D&#39;Angelo restaurants, including franchise locations, are remaining open as the sale goes through.
