DBUSINESS: Mici Italian to Enter Metro Detroit with 25 Restaurants

In a recent article with DBusiness, it was discussed that Mici Italian, a Denver-based fast-casual restaurant franchise, will enter the metro Detroit market with the addition of 25 units over the next decade.

In the span of a few months, Mici has secured commitments with new franchisees to open more than 50 locations in Detroit, Phoenix and Texas. The expansion in metro Detroit will be led by restaurant operators Salem and Youssef Najjar and Yosef Manson of SERVE Hospitality.

“Our multi-unit agreements will allow us to catch fire in record time,” says Elliot Schiffer, CEO of Mici. “It’s important for us to target the right franchisees, and our large-scale investors have brought quality insights to the table that will allow us to keep growing the brand responsibility.”
