Don Frisco Restaurant Group Inc. reached d&egrave;tente with their investor Engaged Capital LLC on Monday, according to an article in <a href="https://www.nrn.com/casual-dining/del-frisco-s-reaches-d-tente-activist-investor?NL=NRN-02_&amp%3BIssue=NRN-02__20190205_NRN-02__438&amp%3Bsfvc4enews=42&amp%3Bcl=article_1_2&amp%3Butm_rid=CPG06000011957589&amp%3Butm_campaign=28397&amp%3Butm_medium=email&amp%3Belq2=ef092d7a81c143b5997e5e349ade19f7&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=del-frisco-restaurant-group-inc-and-activist-investor-engaged-capital-llc-reach-an-agreement-2709089" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Nation&rsquo;s Restaurant News</a>. 

According to the article, &ldquo;The Irving, Texas-based parent to the Del Frisco&rsquo;s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Del Frisco&rsquo;s Grill, Barcelona Wine Bar and Bartaco concepts said it was also terminating<a href="https://www.nrn.com/casual-dining/del-frisco-s-adopts-poison-pill-amid-activist-pressure?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=del-frisco-restaurant-group-inc-and-activist-investor-engaged-capital-llc-reach-an-agreement-2709089" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank"> a shareholder rights plan</a> it adopted in December after noticing unusual activity in its share trading.&rdquo;

Engaged Capital LLC owns almost 10 percent of the company&rsquo;s shares. The agreement with Del Frisco&rsquo;s &ldquo;includes the appointment of activist-endorsed board member Joe Reece, founder and CEO of Helena Capital,&rdquo; the article said. 

The change comes as Del Frisco&rsquo;s board reviews &ldquo;strategic alternatives&rdquo; to a potential whole or partial company sale, announced in December, the article said.
