Del Frisco's Restaurant Group Selling Sullivan's Steakhouse

The steakhouse chain will go to Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group Inc. is selling its Sullivan’s Steakhouse chain to Romano’s Macaroni Grill for approximately $32 million, according to a Nation’s Restaurant News report.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse currently has 14 locations. The sale is planned for completion by September 30, according to the article.

“The sale of Sullivan’s Steakhouse enhances our financial condition while enabling us to sharpen our focus on opportunities with the highest potential for strong returns,” Del Frisco’s CEO Norman Abdallah said in a statement, according to the article. “These include executing our emerging brands integration and expanding our core concepts of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Barcelona Wine Bar and Bartaco. We wish our colleagues at Sullivan’s Steakhouse all the best under their new ownership.”
