Fox Business: US Retail Sales Fell in March, Second Straight Monthly Drop

Consumers start to show signs of cautious spending.

Retail sales have dropped for the second straight month. According to a recent Fox Business article, Americans have decreased their spending on restaurants and auto dealers despite a healthy job market.

Consumers are becoming more cautious with their spending for specific goods and services. The decrease in sales also included categories such as gasoline and building materials, but was offset last month by increased spending at department stores, clothiers and electronics outlets.
