The State News: TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Kicks Off Movers For Moms Event for Mother’s Day

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® of Lansing is participating in the annual Movers For Moms® campaign. Last year the Lansing location donated over 8,200 items and hopes to donate 10,000 this year. Community involvement has been an important aspect of the company since the beginning. This year will be the 10th year of the Movers for Moms® campaign. 

“Mary Ellen Sheets really started the company and we’ve had so many women in key leadership roles across the company that it just made sense to support women and to raise them up during a time of need,” Ennest told The State News.

The donated items are going to five different women's shelters in the Lansing area. 

"The women who receive these donations around Mother’s Day feel empowered and hopeful. The personal hygiene products the campaign collects help women feel clean and go about every day without having to worry about things like body odor. It also helps them look for work more confidently," Grimwood told The State News.
