After Facebook hit its 2 billion user mark, companies are making sure to taking advantage of all of its features. According to a recent QSR Magazine article, Papa John’s has added Instant Ordering to their national Facebook page. Facebook users can now click on the “Start Order” button to seamlessly order pizzas, desserts or sides and use a Facebook only promo code to receive 25 percent off their order.
“The only thing that could make the video of your friend’s new puppy better is a Papa John’s pizza being delivered while you’re watching it,” said Brandon Rhoten, Global CMO of Papa John’s. “We love that Facebook is giving their 2 billion active monthly users access to real-world experiences like food ordering, and are proud to be the first national pizza brand on board.”
Papa John’s is the first pizza brand to offer instant ordering through Facebook and is hoping to surpass 60 percent of total U.S. sales that already come from digital channels.
