Food Network fans will soon have a chance to do business with one of its biggest stars, Bobby Flay. The chef has refined his fast-casual chain, Bobby's Burger Palace, and is preparing for expansion.

According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, 16 out of the 17 existing units are currently owned by the company. The last is licensed to Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Casino. Flay is looking to license the brand in new markets across the U.S.

In an email interview with Nation's Restaurant News, Flay said, "We have been patient in developing the concept and have waited to grow more aggressively until we felt the concept and the business were ready.”

In 2016, the company's revenue surpassed $34 million, and it's continuing to see success. According to Nation's Restaurant News, Flay aims to create global brand recognition for Bobby's Burger Palace, and licensing the brand is the first step to achieving this goal.
