QSR: Flynn Restaurant Group Names Jeffrey Kent SVP of Information Technology

Flynn Restaurant Group has hired a new Senior Vice President of Information Technology.

According to an article on qsr.com, the restaurant group announced the hiring of Jeffrey Kent for the executive-level IT role on Thursday. Kent will oversee IT operations for all of the holding groups restaurants, which include Applebee’s Taco Bells and Panera Bakery Cafes.

Flynn Restaurant Group is the largest restaurant franchisee operating in the United Sates, and Kent comes well-prepared to head up the company’s expansive IT operations. The industry veteran has more than 25 years of senior IT leadership experience.

“We are thrilled to have Jeff join Flynn’s senior leadership team,” said Ron Bellamy, Chief Improvement Officer for Flynn Restaurant Group. “Throughout his career, Jeff has consistently demonstrated a unique knack for developing high performing teams and the capabilities required to successfully execute large-scale projects, both of which are essential to our continued evolution within the restaurant industry.”
