Dickey's Texas-Style Barbecue Takes Root in Florida

A Florida entrepreneur will be responsible for bringing Dickey's Barbecue Pit to Florida. According to a recent release, the brand will be opening a location in Aventura. This will be Peter Juris's first location.

 

This will not be his first experience as a business owner, as he previously owned the largest meat processing plant in Ecuador. This experience prepared him to take on a new role in the food and restaurant industry. 

 

"The dedication and excitement Peter has shown is something that truly inspires all of us at Dickey's. We are proud to have such a seasoned restauranteur bring so much passion to the brand and we look forward to the opening of his Aventura location," said CEO Laura Rea Dickey.

 

Juris has expressed interest in opening additional locations in both North Miami and the Fort Lauderdale area.
