Who needs a high-tech lab run by bots when you have a garage? Domino&rsquo;s is opening its own &ldquo;Innovation Garage,&rdquo; located alongside its corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to test out new delivery methods and in-store technology, according to <a href="https://www.nrn.com/technology/domino-s-opens-innovation-garage-test-technology?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=dominos-debuts-technology-testing-centerin-a-garage-2710782" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">NRN</a>. And no&mdash;it&rsquo;s not a real garage.

While the test kitchen won&rsquo;t be open to the public, the space will manage like a full-functioning Domino&rsquo;s, but filled with the latest technology such as ordering kiosks, carryout trackers and GPS delivery tracking. In other words, Domino&rsquo;s is pretty much telling us: &ldquo;I&rsquo;m not like a regular Domino&rsquo;s, I&rsquo;m a cool Domino&rsquo;s.&rdquo;.

&ldquo;As a pizza company with a focus on technology, we want our team members to have a workspace that encourages experimentation and fosters an environment to take risks, test innovations and fail fast so they can bring their best cutting-edge ideas to life for the brand&rsquo;s customers and stores,&rdquo; Domino&rsquo;s chief technology officer Kelly Garcia said in a press statement, according to NRN.

Domino&rsquo;s has been on a role when it comes to testing out the latest innovative technology and incorporating it into their brand. The company recently announced <a href="https://1851franchise.com/are-e-bikes-the-next-big-thing-in-delivery-tech-domino-s-is-e-leading-the-way-2710715" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">e-bikes</a> as a new way of delivering food to its loyal pizza patrons.

Domino&rsquo;s, which remains at the top of the list of <a href="https://www.thedailymeal.com/eat/favorite-pizza-chains?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=dominos-debuts-technology-testing-centerin-a-garage-2710782" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">America&rsquo;s favorite pizza chains</a>, will open its doors to the Innovation Garage August 21. And since it&rsquo;s probably a matter of time until robots take over, who knows? Today, Innovation Garage; tomorrow, the world.
