Domino's Launches Dinner Bell App Function

Domino’s has announced a new function for its mobile app. According to a recent article in QSR Magazine the brand is launching a dinner bell alert today, where fans can receive group alerts on the status of their orders.

When setting up a dinner bell alert, they will be able to invite other users to join their group. The leader of the group is then able to alert all members when the order is placed. The brand will automatically send out a notification to the entire group when the order is out for delivery.

“Let’s face it, sometimes yelling at everyone that pizza is here just doesn’t work. Domino’s virtual dinner bell makes that job easier, as it rings right on everyone’s phones, no matter where they are, so that everyone is ready to enjoy their piping-hot pizza together,” said chief digital officer, Dennis Maloney.
