Duluth News Tribune: Pita Pit grows in Minnesota

Pita Pit celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Duluth, Minnesota on Monday, December 5th. The location opened its doors to a line of hungry customers who were eager to welcome the first Pita Pit to the area.

"Having different options downtown is a good thing," said Pita Pit of Duluth marketing manager Monica Hendrickson in an interview with the Duluth News Tribune. "We're anchoring this end of Superior Street."

Pita Pit offers made to order options with an array of veggies, meats and spreads all offered on fresh made pitas. Based on the success of this first location, the team is already considering expansion throughout Northern Minnesota.

"We're hoping to become a staple in the region," Hendrickson said to Duluth News Tribune reporter Brooks Johnson.

The restaurant will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering all-day breakfast, mobile ordering and catering.
