According to a <a href="https://www.qsrmagazine.com/news/dunkin-donuts-introduces-first-coffee-can-retail?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=dunkin-launches-first-coffee-in-a-can-retail-option-2707936" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration:none" target="_blank">recent article in QSR Magazine</a> the brand has launched its first coffee in a can option, the Shot in the Dark coffee espresso blend. The product will be offered in three varieties: Caramel, Mocha and Vanilla. They will each be 8.1 ounces and contain 80 calories.

&ldquo;Our fans have loved our ready-to-drink iced coffees as a great way to power through their day with Dunkin&rsquo; anytime and anywhere. Now, for the coffee-loving consumers who want something a little bolder than a traditional cup of coffee, but not as strong as a shot of espresso, our Shot in the Dark creates an exciting and energizing new option when on-the-go,&rdquo; said Brian Gilbert, VP of Retail Business Development.

Dunkin&rsquo; Donuts plans to expand the canned product&rsquo;s availability throughout 2019. In addition to this new product launch, the brand is also expanding offerings in other areas. One notable example is the Pumpkin Spice Bottled Iced Coffee, a seasonal item that is available at retail locations across the nation.
