Dunkin' Names Company Veteran New Head of International Business

John Varughese had been a part of the Dunkin’ team for sixteen years before accepting this new role.

Dunkin' has announced a change in its leadership team. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand has selected John Varughese to fill the role of Head of International Business. The executive is no stranger to the company, having served at Dunkin’ for 16 years. Prior to this promotion, Varughese held the title of vice president international.

John is a seasoned international retail executive with a deep understanding of both the Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin' brands and the countries we serve. His appointment as the head of our international business enables us to seamlessly continue our support of franchisees and licensees and strategically grow our two brands outside the U.S," said Dunkin’ U.S. president and CEO Dave Hoffman.

The position was most recently held by Nigel Travis, the brand’s chairman. Travis spent nine months as interim head of international.
