Edinburg Review: Slim Chickens Opens 50th Location
Abdul and Jamal Hamideh give out free Slim Chickens for a year to the first 100 people in line at the Edinburg, TX opening
Slim Chickens opened a new location in Edinburg, while simultaneously celebrating the brands 50th opening. To celebrate, father and son franchisee duo Jamal and Abdul Hamideh gave away free Slim Chickens to the first 100 people in line.
This is Jamal and Abdul's second Slim Chickens location and they have nine IHOP locations.
"We decided we were going to go ahead with Slim Chickens because of the culture of the company," Abdul told the Edinburg Review reporter.
Choosing the Valley for the new location was a no-brainer once Abdul met the local community. The father and son duo have plans to open five locations in the Rio Grande Valley.
