Elite Window Cleaning, the growing window cleaning franchise that brings refreshing innovation to the industry, is growing again with two new Empire Builders, Tony Cavalleri and Sameer Yamdagni. Formerly a music teacher and video game artist, the pair found themselves looking for more purpose, potential and flexibility, and this led them to invest in the Elite Window Cleaning model.

We decided to take a leap with franchising because we're both exhausted from working nine-to-five every day,” explained Yamdagni. “We want to get to a point where we're managing a business and not actually having to sit there and work nine-to-five until we're 65. This will allow us to have more time with our family and a more flexible schedule so that we can take family vacations and things like that down the line. Our kids are seven and almost four, so it’s something we want to do now.”

Cavalleri spent 15 years as a music teacher before shifting to a role with the Calgary Board of Education. Yamdagni led a successful career as a 3D artist, working with teams to create video games centered around Hannah Montanna, High School Musical, Harry Potter and FarmVille.

As they continued in their careers, spending more structured time at work and maintaining a predictable set of tasks, both Cavalleri and Yamdagni’s desire for something fresh grew. Window cleaning is not a prominent part of either owner’s background, but the benefits of the franchise model, paired with their intrinsic motivation, made them confident in their decision to take the leap and build something for themselves through Elite Window Cleaning.

The pair shared that, though they understand entrepreneurship can be demanding and even difficult at times, they are ready for this next journey and understand how Elite Window Cleaning will play a role in allowing them to build the life they envision for themselves.

Going into the new year, this is exactly the kind of franchise partner CEO and Founder Chris Stoness says the team is looking for.

“Tony and Sameer have unique backgrounds, but they have cast a vision and communicated it to us,” said Stoness. “They not only know where they want to be but understand how they will get there and how Elite Window Cleaning can serve as a vehicle to achieve those goals. We’re proud to be growing with powerful entrepreneurs like Tony and Sameer and look forward to seeing how they represent the brand in Calgary.”

Cavalleri and Yamdagni are two of four new owners who joined the system in 2023 after Elite Window Cleaning spent the majority of the year honing its owner avatar and better communicating with its ideal franchise partners.

The pair is working toward freedom in their time and finances, but for now, they are working to build the business in a way that allows them to serve as many people as possible. They plan to increase the number of both employees on the team and trucks on the road to do so, and they will have the complete support of the Elite Window Cleaning team as they scale.

The Calgary territories are part of a larger expansion plan for the system this year. Stoness said that the team is focused on growth in the Greater Toronto Area and metropolitan areas surrounding Vancouver, due to the strength and size of the markets, to power its exponential growth.

“This is the year that the Elite Window Cleaning franchise system really shows what it can do,” said Stoness. “We’re going to bring the model to owners, we’re going to deliver very quickly on their expectations and we’re going to hold those owners to our expectations. When the table is set with all of that, we’re prepared to have a really big year for our system. I’m super optimistic about what’s to come in 2024.”

The total initial investment necessary to start an Elite Window Cleaning franchise ranges from $102,057 - $120,332 including a $40,000 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with Elite Window Cleaning, visit https://elitewindowcleaningfranchise.ca/
