The watch, however, outsold the iPhone in the first year after its release.

This, says Moss, is proof that we need to take wearable technology seriously. So what does this mean for the restaurant industry? Well, it meets contactless payments via payment information being accessible from wearable technology, as well as more online ordering and an increase in the use of apps.
