Liquid nitrogen ice cream is coming to Ontario, Canada. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, Toronto locals Serena Sun and Alex Wang have signed an agreement to bring Cauldron Ice Cream five locations to their hometown area.

Sun and Wang are no strangers to franchising, with experience operating several Chinese food restaurants. Their restaurants are located in both Canada and China.

"Every time we're in Orange County, we always make a point to stop by Cauldron to get our ice cream fix. When we were in Toronto, we noticed a gap in the market for innovative, high-quality ice cream like Cauldron's. The concept is fun, fresh, and most importantly, delicious, and we wholeheartedly believe that it will be a hit in the Toronto community," said Sun.

The first location will open in summer of 2018. It will be Cauldron Ice Cream's first international location.
