DoorDash now has access to Restaurant Revolution&rsquo;s Order One software. <a href="https://www.fastcasual.com/news/doordash-partners-with-restaurant-revolution-to-facilitate-catering-delivery-orders/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fast-casual-doordash-partners-with-restaurant-revolution-to-facilitate-catering-delivery-orders-2705974" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">According to an article in Fast Casual,</a> this means that Door Dash will not be able to directly incorporate restaurant POS systems when an order is made.

Order One is an omni-channel ordering platform that submits all customer takeout and delivery orders that are places across a variety of mediums, including phone, website, mobile or chat. It&rsquo;s ability to integrate multiple POS systems is what makes it stand out given that it adds a level of efficiency to the process, especially for brands that are outsourcing their delivery efforts.

In a release cited by Fast Casual, Restaurant Revolution CEO Brad Duea said, &ldquo;For many restaurants, the delivery market is either untapped or a phenomenal growth area that comes with operational hurdles. Current out-of-house delivery options require additional tablets and dedicated team members to accept delivery orders and re-enter them into the restaurant&rsquo;s POS system. With our integration with Drive, our restaurant partners will be able to streamline the entire delivery process with Order One sending delivery orders direct to their POS without the need to transfer orders from tablets, resulting in an efficient and premium experience. Order One will also capture customer order history so consumers can simply and easily reorder from any channel.&rdquo;

Revolution is planning to extend the reach of its Order One platform throughout 2018 alongside DoorDash by adding new restaurant partners to its program.
