Fast Casual: Fatburger names new president, COO

The franchise industry veteran will take charge as the brand continues to grow and expand both internationally and domestically.

FAT Brands Inc., the parent company for an assortment of restaurants including Fatburger, Ponderosa and Buffalo's Cafe, has announced a change in leadership. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the Toni M. Bianco is stepping up to fill the role of COO and President of the Fatburger brand.

Bianco said he is excited about the opportunity and has, "always been drawn to brands like Fatburger that offer a vivid history and culture, yet continue to push themselves toward a promising and exciting future."

The new leadership comes at an exciting time for the franchise, which currently has about 350 operating locations. The brand is in the process of developing nearly 300 more restaurants on a domestic and international scale.

Bianco brings years of experience to the table, with an impressive history at both Papa John's and Long John Silver's. At the former, he was responsible for significant international growth in Asia. At the latter, he ushered in an era of customer satisfaction higher than the brand had experienced in quite some time.
