Fast Casual: Fazoli's Franchisees Break 12 Growth Records

The Italian-American chain has experienced rapid growth in Q1 of 2018

According to a recent article in Fast Casual, Italian-American franchise brand Fazoli’s broke twelve internal sales records at franchisee-owned restaurants in the first quarter of 2018. One of those records was set by a new unit in Hazard, Kentucky, which exceeded $100,00 in weekly sales for the first time in the franchise’s history.

Fazoli’s has opened five restaurants in markets across the U.S. since the beginning of 2018, and the brand has an additional seven locations in the pipeline set to open before the end of the year. Those 12 openings will mark the biggest development year for the franchise in 16 years. According to a press release cited in the article, volume at existing Fazoli’s restaurants is growing at nearly three times the industry average rate.

“We are pleased to report Fazoli's continued success for the first quarter of 2018," said Fazoli’s President and CEO Carl Howard in the press release. "The key to our company's success has been collaborating with our franchisees and listening to and understanding our guests' tastes and preferences and we have consistently evolved our brand strategy accordingly. There has truly never been a better time for our brand and it is showing in our record-breaking sales and strong franchise development.”
