Fast Casual: Fazoli's testing voice-ordering capabilities

The franchise is adopting conversational food ordering to streamline the customer experience and boost sales.

Customers will now be able to place their meal orders through Alexa at select Fazoli's locations. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the franchise has partnered with voice technology service Orderscape to bring this new dimension of technology to its restaurants.

"We are moving to an on-demand and stay-at-home economy, and we will work to provide our guest with every ordering option available and furthermore provide our guest with every option to receive our great tasting Italian dishes," said CEO Carl Howard.

The brand hopes that this new system will improve the guest experience and boost earnings. By integrating voice technology, the brand is able to streamline the ordering process more effectively and simplify the process overall. 

Orderscape believes that conversational food ordering will revolutionize the restaurant experience. Currently, the company works with primarily with Alexa and will soon be integrating Google Home and Google Assistant technology into the mix.
