The hit Nordic pizza chain continues to expand its portfolio by managing a variety of other franchise concepts.

Kotipizza, one of the top European pizza brands, continues to see positives sales. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the success of the Nordic brand has inspired the company to expand its portfolio to manage several other brands.

"Kotipizza's chain-based net sales continued their strong growth in the first quarter of the financial year. The chain's net sales presented excellent development in terms of both same-store sales and the average purchase," said CEO Tommi Tervanen.

One of the new companies the brand is managing is SocialBurgerjoint. Kotipizza believes that this concept will revolutionize the burger market in Finland while also finding success across the globe. There are currently two in operation with plans to open an additional two this year.

The growth will happen as part of the Kotipizza's three-year strategy for growth. In addition, two other brands have been launched: No Pizza and Tasty Market. Both brands are still in early stages of operation, and the brand is looking to partner with local entrepreneurs to bring the concepts to new locations.
