Melt Shop has signed an agreement with 717 Food Group to open its first franchise location.&nbsp;According to a&nbsp;<a href="http://bit.ly/2zPQtmF?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fast-casual-melt-shop-signs-1st-domestic-franchise-agreement-2704849" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="color: rgb(17, 85, 204);" target="_blank">recent article</a>&nbsp;in Fast Casual, this new location will open in Staten Island, New York next year.&nbsp;

&quot;We&#39;re thrilled that just weeks after the announcement of our franchise program launch, we&#39;ve signed our first franchisee &mdash; and in our own backyard.&nbsp;717 Food Group&#39;s passion and excitement for Melt Shop combined with their hospitality and operations experience and achievements makes them the perfect partner,&quot; said founder&nbsp;Spencer Rubin.

Melt Shop currently has a total of eight corporate locations. It has also recently signed agreements for several franchise locations to open in the Middle East. It is the company&#39;s goal to reach 100 locations within the next five years.
