According to a&nbsp;<a href="http://bit.ly/2pfELNe?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fast-casual-mod-pizza-reports-81-increase-in-system-wide-sales-2705919" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="color:rgb(17, 85, 204)" target="_blank">recent article in Fast Casual</a>, the brand experienced a 5.2 percent increase in same-store sales at the end of the year. Additionally, the net revenue of the franchise increased by nearly 70 percent, with system-wide sales up by over 80 percent.

Throughout the year, the brand opened over 100 new locations including setting up shop in states they had not previously entered. With this expansion, Mod Pizza has now built up a presence in 27 states across the nation. With new locations also came new leadership, as the brand brought on a new COO, CMO, President of Culinary and VP of Technology.&nbsp;
