Fast Casual: New England pizzeria first to use 'Shark Tank' box for pies
PizzaCo chain to adopt innovative and eco-friendly packaging.
PizzaCo, a Connecticut based pizzeria chain, is taking a sustainable approach to packaging its products. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand will be the first to implement an eco-friendly packing idea that debuted on Shark Tank.
This design, named GreenBox, allows the pizza box to be used multiple times. It breaks down into individual plates and storage containers for leftovers. The design was created by Connecticut local, William Walsh, in response to watching pizza boxes pile up in his fraternity house.
