Fast Casual: Penn Station East Coast Subs adds online ordering to mobile app, website

With nearly 60 percent of all orders being consumed off-site, the brand has introduced a more convenient way to place to-go orders.

Penn Station East Coast Subs is embracing technology in a new way. According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the brand has officially made online ordering available to customers through its website and mobile app. Guests can browse the menu, place orders and pay all within the confines of the online ordering feature.

"For Penn Station, the addition of ordering capabilities to our existing mobile application is a natural next step and provides our franchisees with a new competitive advantage. The feature integrates with our existing loyalty program and mobile app to further enhance our customer's experience," said president Craig Dunaway.

The brand decided it was time to launch this option when it noticed that over half of orders are consumed off-site. While the app itself is not new, the online ordering feature is meant to offer a more convenient and flexible way for guests to order.

"We felt it more prudent to keep franchisees and customers excited and motivated with the changes and updates," said Dunaway.
