According to a&nbsp;<a href="https://bit.ly/2J1VT55?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=fast-casual-smoothie-king-expanding-to-michigan-2706596" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="color:rgb(17, 85, 204)" target="_blank">recent article in Fast Casual</a>, the brand will be expanding into Michigan for the first time. This expansion will be made possible through a franchise deal with a local entrepreneur,&nbsp;Christopher Klebba.

&quot;We are committed to making an active lifestyle attainable for people in our community, and we see a real need for an offering like Smoothie King,&quot; said Klebba.

The&nbsp;franchisee&nbsp;has plans to open a total of 50 locations across the state, with the first three slated to open in 2018.&nbsp;
