If this goal is met, it will set a company record for the number of new openings during one year.

Smoothie King credits the most recent growth, in part, to its Cleaner Blending initiative. This involves the use of fewer and fewer artificial colors and flavors as time goes on. The brand hopes to eliminate these entirely by the end of the year.&nbsp;
