Fast Casual: Summer LTOs Focus on Providing Healthful Options

A new season brings new inspiration to these restaurants’ menus.

With the official start of summer comes a chance for restaurants to refresh their menus with new LTOs. According to a recent Fast Casual article, many brands are upping their game in the healthy eating department for the new season. Here are a few of the summer deals hitting your plate.

Jason’s Deli

In support of cancer risk reduction, the deli is focusing on a new salad with fish. The Salmon Pacifica Salad has only 450 calories and includes Alaska sockeye salmon, organic field greens, fresh-chopped avocado, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled red onions with a cucumber-dill vinaigrette.

Qdoba

Fire-Roasted Shrimp is a new summer addition to the Mexican fast casual’s menu. Surf and Turf Burrito Bowl, Tropical Shrimp Tacos or Fire-Roasted Shrimp Salad are the three ways that Qdoba is encouraging customers to try its latest new ingredient.

Au Bon Pain

Want a little relief from the summer heat? Au Bon Pain has created a few seasonal recipes just for you then. The brand's Lobster Sandwich, Mediterranean Chicken & Tabouli Salad and Herb Chicken Salad Sandwich are light and delicious recipes to enjoy through Aug. 28.
